IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SUPPLYING HAIR
Hair We Accept
Virgin hair ie hair that has not been bleached and has its original colour, texture, and strength.
Hair follicles facing the same direction Ie directly cut from head and placed in pony tails.
Hair should be washed prior to cutting and free of any natural or product build up.
We have a preference for hair in its natural colour with no bleaching or chemical treatments especially home kits.
Hair length must be at least 12 inches long.
Hair quantity from 25 grams.
We do not accept
Indian temple hair or any other hair used for rituals.
SELLING YOUR HAIR
We pay an average of £15 per 25 grams of hair , based on the condition of hair as stipulated above. We do not currently purchase hair extensions however these can be donated directly to us. All hair sold to us will be used to create clip in hair toppers for general sale.
DONATING YOUR HAIR
You will receive a certificate of donation for your hair, plus a link to the product created once completed. All hair donated to us will be used to create discounted clip in hair toppers for financially vulnerable individuals.
Q & A
Can I still sell my hair if i am not based in the UK?
Yes whilst we provide free parcel delivery service for individuals in the UK you are still able to ship your hair of your own accord directly to us. Please contact us at orders@ultrastrands.co.uk before shipping any hair to us in this instance.
When do I get paid for my hair ?
It is essential that you weigh your hair before sending it to us. Once you have weighed your hair, please contact us for a quote. The quote is an estimate based on the quality of hair supplied. Once we have received your hair and verified its condition, you will receive payment into your nominated bank account within seven days
How long does hair verification take ?
Once we have received your hair, our verification process is within three to five working days.
Can I change my mind ?
Yes. We ask you for confirmation at each stage of the process. Once you are happy with the final sale price, we will request your bank account details and proceed with the bank transfer. Once bank transfer has been completed, the sale is deemed as final.
